Advice for travelling without boundaries
It is advisable to tell the airline in advance of any requirements for reduced mobility passengers.
If
the journey is taking place within the European Union, the destination airport will need to have received information about assistance required in order to guarantee it can be provided correctly. Outside the
European Union, where Regulation ''1107/2006'' of the European Parliament and Council of Europe on the rights of people with a disability or reduced mobility on air transport does not apply for
assistance on the ground, some airline companies have their own resources for providing help for people who need it.
Luggage belonging to people with reduced mobility has priority at the time of
unloading, especially equipment such as wheelchairs.
